Who conducts the annual audit of the association’s accounts?

The audit must be performed by two individuals appointed by the Board of Directors, with at least one not being a board member. The audit report must be provided to unit owners no later than March 1 of the following year.

What are the rules regarding hurricane shutter installation?

All unit owners were required to install hurricane shutters or impact-resistant windows by June 1, 2008. If a unit owner fails to comply, the Board may install them and charge the owner. All shutters must meet Boynton Beach building code requirements.

Can the Board of Directors extend existing lease agreements?

Yes. A 2009 amendment allows the Board of Directors to approve and renew existing lease agreements for up to one year, at its sole discretion.

What rules apply to parking space use and assignment?

Each unit is entitled to one parking space, but no unit has exclusive rights. A second space may be assigned based on need. Recreational, commercial, and unregistered vehicles are not allowed and may be removed at the owner’s expense.
